6:30pm We have reached our destination of Picton. We had set out for here initially when we left Trenton, after hitting some big seas, high winds and the potential for severe storms we started to look for anchorages. We passed Picton and hoped for the best but eventually had to face facts and backtrack and are now in a calm, quite place. Locals were jumping from the conveyor loaders of the local quarry as we pulled in. The storm has passed but not with out taking a prisonor. We were to far passed Belleville when the mayday came in for a capsized catermaran. We believe we were docked up with them last night in trenton. Never heard but hopefully everyone is alright, it was reported that there were three swimmers.
Ray is on to dinner, you never know what’s coming but it’s always good. Time for a swim, cocktails, than on to sambuca and pie.
